Donald Ralph was born in 1908. Donald Ralph's father was Michael Meginess and his mother was Martha Bunter. His paternal grandparents were Patrick McGuinness and Jane Margaret Morgan. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Michael, Luke, Patrick, William Simmons, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth Ellen, Annie Regan and Mary. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 91 on May 9th, 1999.
