Annie Regan was born in 1897 in Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia. Annie Regan's father was Michael Meginess and her mother was Martha Bunter. Her paternal grandparents were Patrick McGuinness and Jane Margaret Morgan. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Michael, Luke, Patrick, William Simmons, Donald Ralph, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth Ellen and Mary. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 65 in 1962.
