Louisa was born in 1831 in Blockley, Worcestershire, , England. Louisa's father was william keen and her mother was hanah nichols. Her paternal grandparents were William Keen and Mary Evans. She had three brothers and eleven sisters, named Richard, William, Charles, mary ann, Sarah, Charlotte, Sophia, Susannah, Cicely, Maria, Esther, Rachel, Susannah and Priscilla. She died at the age of 120 in 1951.
